Hello list(s),

I appologise for cross posting but, due to the low traffic in the
vegadns-users list, i though about taking my chances in the djbdns list
also.

I was wondering were i can get a copy of the 1.1.5 or 1.1.6 versions
(development branch) of the vegadns software. Currently, on SF, you can
only download the stable versions, which lack support for some things i
need, such as SRV records.

Thanks in advance,

Hugo Monteiro.

Well, on the SourceForge project page for VegaDNS -
http://sourceforge.net/projects/vegadns/ - there is a "Develop" link to
http://sourceforge.net/projects/vegadns/develop
which mentions a Subversion repository. From a quick browse of the web
interface to the repository it seems that trunk/docs/CHANGELOG documents
version 1.1.6. Is that what you are looking for? :)

It seems it has not been released as a tarball yet, you can only check it
out of the Subversion repository.

G'luck,
Peter

If there were no counterfactuals, this sentence would not have been paradoxical.

To answer myself, and possibly others, i've came across the following
repository

http://vegadns.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb-index.cgi

From there i could verify that besides the stable branch (master),
there were 3 heads, of which the most recently updated was vegadns-0.10
(bottom of page). That version appears to have what i was looking for.

I also take the chance to ask if anyone knows if there's any patch to
add support for generic records to vegadns.

Regards,

Hugo Monteiro.
